Who Started Peritum Attorneys? | Why was Peritum Attorneys Started?

Peritum Attorneys was started by non-attorneys to help simplify the process in finding an attorney. Finding the right attorney can be a difficult process, one that we here at PAA have found ourselves in before. Every attorney says they are “the best”. What makes them the best? We looked at what makes an Expert and time in practice is essential. Experience is something that doesn’t come from taking a test or going to school. Schooling and tests are simply the gateway to the path known as experience. Hopefully, the longer someone is on the path, the more experience they gain. An Expert is reverred not only by those they serve, but also by those in their field or practice. That is why we utilize peer-to-peer review sources (see “Selection Process”), as well as online client reviews.

We understand that experience is essential, that alone gives comfort to the individual in need of attorney services. We also understand you have to get along with your attorney. We have reviewed thousands of attorneys and our confident to in our Directory. Thank you for visiting.

Peritum American Attorneys-PAA, have proven themselves in their field of practice. You know you can trust your attorney if they are honored with the PAA seal to show their membership. History of PAA Mascot and Seal

The owl was a symbol for Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategy, before the Greeks gave their pantheon human forms.  Athena’s relationship with the owl was even closer than taking it as her mascot or symbol, though. It is said that the goddess took the form of the owl when she traveled on the Earth. According to myth, an owl sat on Athena’s blind side, so that she could see the whole truth.  In Ancient Greece, the owl was a symbol of a higher wisdom, and it was also a guardian of the Acropolis-the temple of Athena. There are myths and legends from all over the world, from the Americas to the Far East.  Owls continue to be a source of wisdom, both spiritual and intellectual.

Peritum comes from the Latin word ‘peritus’ meaning skilled and expert. The variation ‘peritum’ extends to being skillful and experienced. Peritum Attorneys make up a small percentage of the general attorney population. Attorneys classified as “Peritum” have a minimum of 10 years in practice or have proven themselves in their field of practice.

Just as the owl is a symbol of wisdom and intellect, attorneys with the seal of the owl and classified as Peritum are ones you can trust to handle your needs professionally and by the best means available. The owl stands as a symbol to see the whole truth and as a guardian. Peritum Attorneys have proven to uphold the highest standards of integrity and to protect an individual’s rights, assets, and/or anything they hold of value.

The crescent moon and olive branch also hold significance. The crescent moon was placed on the ancient Athens coin after the Battle of Marathon, 490 B.C., when the Athenians defeated the Persians beneath a waning moon. The moon, in this case, is a symbol of triumph and victory. The Olive branch symbolizes many things. It was given as a gift to symbolize prosperity. Wreaths made of olive branches were placed on the heads of victors and heroes, and an olive branch was commonly extended between enemies as a symbol that they wished to enter into treaties.
